Overview
Saporea is an iOS order concierge. Point your camera at any restaurant menu and Claude's vision model reads it end to end, turning a single photo into a structured, browsable list of dishes — each with a plain-language description, likely ingredients, nutrition estimates, and allergen and dietary flags.
It learns what you like. A short taste quiz and six taste axes build your palate profile, while your diets, allergens, and disliked ingredients filter the menu. Saporea then ranks every dish to your taste, surfaces what to order, and quietly flags what to avoid — and shows a representative photo of each dish, so you're never ordering blind.
Under the hood, cloud scans run server-side on Anthropic's Claude through Firebase Cloud Functions, with an optional on-device menu reader and an "ask the waiter" assistant powered by Apple's on-device Foundation Models. A shared community catalog means menus other diners have already scanned are instantly available to you. Built with SwiftUI, Firebase (Auth, Firestore, Cloud Functions), Sign in with Apple, and RevenueCat for subscriptions.
